Emma Cheuk

Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience specializing in EMDR therapy for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, workplace stress, peer and family relationships, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) recovery, depression, family conflict, and grief and loss counselling. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and the lasting impact of childhood and family-rooted trauma. My work often focuses on helping clients process flashbacks, recurring memories, emotional overwhelm, and patterns shaped by early relational experiences. I also work closely with adolescents and young adults who are building confidence, strengthening self-worth, and learning to regulate stress during important life transitions.

Across all ages, I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel deeply seen, understood, and supported. My approach integrates EMDR therapy within an attachment-based framework to help clients regulate nervous system responses, process distressing experiences, and move toward healing and emotional resilience.
